Large protective and absorbent sponge inserts in the front (tibial area), on the toe and on the heel, and protecting the Achilles tendon.
In addition to softening blows and vibrations, the terry cloth increases the friction resistance of the sock in the affected areas.
Ribbed construction to improve the grip and stability of the sock on the foot.
