Description
The EPURE RACE 2026: Simplified Performance
The Epure Race is EM's top-of-the-line model, designed specifically for competition. For the 2026 model year, it benefits from numerous improvements in performance, range, and weight. It distinguishes itself from the FACTOR-e with its gearbox-free system, offering simplified handling for track riding.
Powertrain and Component Innovations
The Epure Race is equipped with the brand-new "Made in EM" powertrain, identical to the FACTOR-e (without the gearbox).
New Made in EM Motor:
Max Power: Up to 18kW.
Max Torque at the Wheel: 740Nm.
Motor Speed: Up to 14,000rpm.
Power-to-Weight Ratio: Unmatched at 3.3kW/kg.
Inertia: The 40% increase in inertia enhances smoothness and power, making incredible performance accessible thanks to the mapping.
New Diaphragm Clutch: The 2026 model features a new 3-disc hydraulically actuated clutch, designed for competition, offering increased precision and responsiveness for perfect control over obstacles.
New Shock Absorber and Fork: The motorcycle boasts the best chassis components with a Tech Racing Aluminum fork and the all-new TECH shock absorber, providing a balanced and agile package.
New Swingarm: Identical to that of the FACTOR-e, it is 300 grams lighter, more robust, improves traction, and incorporates a new adjustment system. It is accompanied by a new kickstand and its lightweight, forged bracket.
Control and Safety Features
TKO (Throttle Kill Over-ride): This technology provides assistance in controlling power at low RPMs. It ensures an ideal feel for all skill levels by maintaining a constant RPM, improving acceleration precision and traction. TKO can be activated or deactivated via a button or the EM Connect app.
TFT Screen: The next-generation TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) screen offers premium quality and optimal user comfort. It displays all essential information: RPM, speed, remaining battery life, TKO activation, and map selection.

Explanation of Standard Equipment
3-Disc Clutch New hydraulically controlled diaphragm brake system, optimized for competition, offering increased precision and responsiveness to handle the power and torque of the new engine.
FRB (Fixed Regenerative Brake): This is the Fixed Regenerative Engine Brake. This system recovers energy during deceleration and descents to recharge the battery. The engine braking effect is constant, simulating the effect of a combustion engine decelerating and offering better control, especially downhill.
TKO (Tick Over): TKO simulates the effect of a constant engine speed at low RPM, similar to idling on a combustion engine motorcycle. Low-RPM Power Control: It provides power control assistance, allowing the motorcycle to gain acceleration precision and traction. Ideal Feel: It is designed to offer ideal feel for riders of all levels (beginners to experienced), facilitating motorcycle management in technical sections where smooth power delivery is crucial.
Charger Box: This is the charging unit supplied with the motorcycle. In the case of the Epure FACTOR-e, it's a new system that has been redesigned to improve performance, finish, and durability, and includes the new charging port.
TFT Display: A Thin-Film Transistor Display. This high-resolution color screen serves as the instrument panel. It displays essential information such as battery level, selected riding mode, speed, and potentially diagnostics.
Flywheel: This is a mechanical component added to the engine. The increased engine inertia (a 40% gain) was specifically designed to improve the engine's smoothness and feel, offering a more progressive and manageable power delivery, similar to the feel of internal combustion motorcycles.
